Tama HP50 pedal

Has anyone tried the new Tama HP50 pedal? The one with the single height-adjustable post. I'm curious because it looks interesting, with a design that resembles a Swivomatic. There's very little I can find on the net about it as far as reviews, except for one on YouTube that's in Japanese (the auto-translate is hilarious).

If you've tried one I'd like to hear your opinion. Thanx!
