Tacked on head repair...

Loading...

Has anyone repaired (I guess that would mean replace) a tacked on reso for an old tom-tom? I got two recently but both have tears. I'd really like to play these guys. Any and all insights, or people to contact, would be appreciated.

I remember Kona did one. Not sure if there's another thread on it but a few pics in this one. He did a great job and a ton of work at that. You can always ask him. I know there was a thread on DFO in more detail but no idea where it is there. Also Matt from CT Pro Percussion does tacked heads I think if you need someone to do it for you. He'd be the guy.

Rob Cook at Rebeats is known for his work with calf heads, but he now has this page on the Rebeats website. It seems he's moving away from this business, but he still has some supplies and could be in a position to help you out.

It's definitely worth a call...
