I like 'em ok. I prefer a nice responsive and lingering china, though. I don't like hitting the edge of the swish when it's turned up like a ride. It makes me uncomfortable to hit that direct edge with the shank.

Yeah,I play'em right side up next to my ride but keep them tilted enoungh so I don't smack the edge.I started playing them in ' 71 after hearing them on Zappa records.I've heard they were developed by Krupa and Avedis III back in the late 30's.They're thinner and flater than a China with a small bell.If you play your snare on 1 and the swish on " and " you get an echo effect.
