Super Zyn 20 inch ride for your pleasure

Loading...

Hi Guys and I recently scored this 20 inch super zyn ride from e-bay for only $50.

It has some tight lathe markings in two areas and the sound inbetween is very different, I have also seen this on a top hi-hat cymbal so wonder if it is deliberate to tune them.

It is quite light at around 1820g and is totally different to the 5 star 20 inch ride I also have along with my other vintage 5 stars that surround my Gretsch Catalina Jazz. The 12 inch splash is an ordinary zyn and works quite well.

I also did some slo-mo video of the zuper zyn to show the edge wobble: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A83sad342k4&feature=youtu.be"]Super Zyn 20 inch ride - YouTube[/ame]

Nice find. That's a great looking cymbal. That's the lightest 20" that I've seen.
