I resolved issue with seller, drum ended up costing me $65 delivered, worth more in parts. I'll figure out a way to make it better, one thing about chrome, its an easy match, not like trying to match WMP, I'll let you guys know what I do. she deserves to look pretty again.
Suggestions on a COW Sling snare

Glad this all worked out, yeah the description and the actual drum Wow what a difference. this is a good canidate for a re wrap. good luck.
If you want to restore the drum and stay with a chrome finish, the current stock of chrome wrap is actually plastic but looks good. It is also generally one of the cheapest of the wrap finishes. Rumor has it that it scratches easily but what are guys doing to their drums to scratch them up in the first place? My guess is that the guys on this forum actually try to take care of their drums.
Another option is to contact jccabinets as he is doing a Fibes restoration with actual stainless steel. Cool.

Hi,
Snare on left is a Tama '84 rosewood shell. Could not be happier with the end result. The plastic chrome wrap is from Jammin Sam.. Just a 2 hour job..
Cheers

Is it just me or do the lugs look off center as if maybe the drum was cut down?
