To add to Leo's info, the first generation Tama KB are also identical to the Star KB.
To make it simple: the ones with the two bars underneath the wires are all first generation. The KB's without the bars are second generation.

I asked the guy from the Tama forum (see link on first page) and he sent me the following link:

He produces this wires for the first and second generation auf KB snares.
The wires above are for the first generation and have the right length.
I have ordered one of them. :)
