Shells are made of fiberglass..They are very loud drums,i use to play them out side at concerts back in the 80s..I did trade the set in 1990 for a Ludwig 6.5x14 snare a 1932 b/b snare drum..Mikey

Ihad a red set with 4 mounted and a floor tom. They were a real attention getter. Wish I had them back.

Jasmine, drummer for "Red Bacteria Vacuum" from Tokyo, Japan is in the middle of a 26 date North American Tour opening for A Perfect Circle. Around the 8th show she switched to a Staccato kit. Their tour and lots of pictures on on http://www.slashlawyer.com/?p=118
