I decided to play my Supersensitive snare for a bit. Sometimes i will play with snare off. When I put it back on it is loosened way up. I noticed that the adjustment wheels are moving when playing. Teflon tape or am I missing something? Was the SS not meant to be played this way?

Well....you can try this....it's not gonna sound pretty, but.....
Remove the adjuster "wheels" completely from the strainer ends. Take a pair of Vise-grips and GENTLY squeeze the protruding nub SLIGHTLY using said vise-grips. The idea here is to make the internal threaded part SLIGHTlY oblong to restrict the wheels movement just enough. Don't go hog wild on them now, otherwise you'll never get them to thread back on the strainers, also you don't want to go so much as to crack the wheels. If you are worried about marring the chrome on the wheels, use a few layers of masking tape on the vise-grip jaws.
