split nylon inserts for snare drum stand

I have an old snare drum stand that the split nylon insert on the base has broken and no longer holds the top of the stand firm. The outside dimension is 7/8" and inside is 3/4. Does anyone have some they would sell or if someone knows where I can get something that will work I'd appreciate it. I tried the local Ace hardware store and they couldn't help me. Thanks in advance, Gerald.

What make of stand? Does the piece you need have a lip on top or No lip? What color white or black? Do you know if the piece has a tip on the side of it to fit into a small hole on the side of the stand? Is the piece open or closed?...Photo would help...Mikey

I don't know the make of stand. There is a lip on the top. There is a hole to hook into a bump in the side of the tube. Color is white. Piece has an open slit the length of it. I'm not smart enough to post pictures. I can send a pic to an email adress though. Thanks for the responses.
