Sonor Teardrop Spur Mount

From Robzilla

I sprayed it with some WD-40 last night. Fairy liquid?

Fairy dishwashing liquid and water. It is very good for cleaning chrome and metal parts, and I suppose it would eat through rust too. You soak stuff in it overnight.

After continuous application of WD-40, I was able to remove the wing bolt from the mount. Thanks for the help folks.

Presuming that the mount has not be altered, the correct thread size is 6mm x 1mm.

First, I can't put that badge on that finish. Second I can't really tell if the badge is the impressed font. Can you feel the words if you run your finger over them ? If so because it says Western, that will be the first square badge introduced in 64/65

Does it have a three digit ink stamp inside. The first number is the year, the second two are the month for the 60's

I have literally 7 or 8 versions of the teardrop square badges. I've got them generalized but have no solution yet to list them in order. I lack badge with stamp examples.

That's because the wrap has been removed. Yes, you can feel it if you rub your fingers over it, lower badge reads "Made in Western Germany". Finally, the ink stamp is 506.

That's June 65 and supports the timeline I made so far for it. Seen it on 5 and 4 but not on six. The plastic knobs that Ludwig Hercules later stole, came with the Mallet logo between Mangus's badge and yours but then discontinued. Seeing how he Id'd it for us I can use that mount on that badge including the hand knob now.
