Guys I have been busy! One project after another. I start a project and always end up needing something I have to find. Most of it is vintage so its a search, not just a purchase. So, while im searching anxiously and waiting for a reply, I find something else to clean on or polish. Then I find something cool on craigslist or a pawn shop, buy it, and now have a whole new set of goodies to play with lol. Ever since my girlfriend suggested I put one of my drum kits in the Living room a few months ago, I have been busier n a one legged man in a$$ kicking contest! I drug em all outta the closet, and set the luddy's up in the corner of the livin room, and the teardrops up right in front of the tv. Then i found the floor tom for the sonors in canada. 1st thing i restored was my so called rogers 20" floor tom. It is a slingerland as best I can tell. I wrapped it to semi match my luddy's. I replaced the lugs and yes I still have to old ones. lol. Tonite, while I await my original 1960 slingy lugs and badge from a fellow forum member, that I had already orderd repros of on the internet, are also on the way, sheesh!! lol, Anyway while im waiting, Im gonna polish this amazing original 60's Sonor hi hat stand and snare stand. This will be the last segment of my sonor teardrop restoration. I took lots of pics of the whole process, and bugged the sh*t out of all of y'all to get it done. I took lots of pics. These stands are cool y'all!
