I just finished restoring the slingerwig snare I snagged of off ebay. When I got it it was wrapped in cheetah contact paper, with a luddy keystone badge. After posting pics on here I was told it was a slingerwig lol
Big daddy made up I hilarious story about the origin of the drum, but y'all all chimed in and helped my identify the drum. The stamp inside the shell indicated it was made in dec 1960 and the m indicated it was a natural finish. Kevins chimed in with a pic of his, that looked excatly like mine is supposed to. Thanks kev. You drum inspired me to make this snare into a masterpiece. I am very proud of the out come. It is, Indeed, a masterpiece.
I have pics of the whole restoration, but here are a few before and after.
Enjoy, and thanks for all y'all's help!
