No opinions at all? I guess I will re-wrap it in some pink/lime green holographic wrap using gorilla glue!!! Eye Ball

I'm just looking for a little guidance from someone who has been through it before not a major debate. Feel free to PM me if you don't want to publicly post your opinion.

Thank you!

Your original idea of Champagne sparkle seems a good choice. How about the new Mardi Gras wrap?

Ok, so I decided to go with turquoise glass glitter. I like it a lot! I located rims and the correct tension rod's and they are on their way to me. Can't wait to play it!

Looking good. Any trouble with head fitment?

None that I can tell. Evans 360 heads have about 1/16" gap the entire way around.

All finished! I have a coated G1 over Hazy 300 with the 20 strand "German" wires from DFD. I used it last night at practice at our church and the sound guy even commented on how nice it sounded. Really love the sound and body of this drum. It's a keeper!

Great job. Best of both worlds. You can enjoy this drum now and collect up original parts at your leisure for a possible future restoration. That wrap does have a vintage vibe.
