Slingerland Stage Band Floor Tom

Loading...

I'm looking for a Slingerland Stage Band floor tom, doesn't matter if it's the 12x15 or the later 14x14, in blue/silver Duco. My set is (I think) a 1963, and probably a 6 out of 10 condition wise. The paint on mine is pretty nice, has some flaking here and there and isn't super glossy, and the chrome is pretty shiny without too many flaws. (Don't want the tom to look too bad or too good compared to the rest.)

Thanks!

I have a 14x14 stage band in blue/silver duco, its a later model than yours, '66 I think, with maple interior. I'll shoot some pics for you.

Thanks! Yeah, the later model is fine. I'm not going for a numbers matching kit, so to speak, just cosmetically close. If it's easier for you I can message you my phone number and you can text me the pics.

I know you would prefer authentic vintage - but I flipped one with a 15in FT and research indicated that mine was the real deal original to the kit, but that Slingerland often used the marching shells when manufacturing them. Mine had the snare beds.

That said - it would not be very expensive for you to try to build one with a Slinger marcher - which are affordable. Try your shot at painting and then antiquing with various techniques.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!
