Slingerland Sparkle Orange 14x20" Bass Drum

I'm thinking about selling my Slingerland sparkle gold bass drum. It's a brass Chicago badge (1956-59) but a previous owner took off the consolette and installed a Set-o-matic mount.

Wrap is very good, lugs and t-rods are original. Missing bass drum spurs. Gibraltar hoops. Batter head is an Evans EQ4 coated with only 10 minutes of play time. Special note: the black Slingerland logo head (with rocking cat emblem) will NOT be included. I'll include a generic bass drum head instead.

I have it listed on Reverb at $300, but I'll sell it here for $300 (firm). UPS shipping is $100.

Just FYI, the badge on your drum is the earlier Chicago badge ('56 - '59). The wrap is the confetti version of "Sparkling Gold". GLWS.

I had that pointed out to me on another forum, too. Sad part is that I knew it, just had brain flatulence when I posted the ad. I must be getting senile ;) .

Cancelling the ad...

I found a sparkle gold late 1950s Artist's Series snare on Reverb, so I've decided to keep the bass drum and build up another kit of orphans. Thank you everybody!
