Hi all,

I'm trying to help a friend replace a Slingy Rapid strainer from a 1966 wood snare. I know these particular strainers are almost impossible to track down, but I'm wondering if anyone here might have a line on where I could possibly find one. I found one on ebay, but it's an older style with the multiple holes for the gut snare strands - his is a three hole piece for snare cords. I sent him that, but I think he'd like to keep it in the same timeframe if possible. I'd love to help him get it up and running again.
