If this is the one you mean, it may not work... the hole spacing is different than
the ones I have.

Depends on how out of round...a lot of RKs left the factory a bit out of round. :)

its less than 1/8th of an inch a new head fits on it but i have to kind of force it not much but not as easy as a new drum. is that normal?
Try an Aquarian American Vintage head. They are slightly oversized.
awsome thanks alot what about cracks like this how do i fix these? and somebody wrote on the outer shell should i sand it and stain it?
Syringe, glue, clamps, and something to put on the ring and the shell to keep the clamps from smashing and leaving imprints.
If you want, I don't know where it Texas you are, but you can send it to me and I will fix the rings and send it back to you. I won't charge you anything except for shipping.

Or, I can take some pics of the supplies and an example and you can give it a whirl, it's really not too difficult.

The ply seperation is very common on old radio kings, and as I first asked you was your shell in round, 30's and 40's radio kings are almost all out of round, I haven't seen one yet that is! but the ply seperation is an easy fix, and yes sand down the old fiinsh and re stain it!!
