Slingerland Kick Drum

Dear fellow percussionists

I have acquired and have started to play a 26 x12 Slingerland kick drum. It sounds sweet with a little muffling. I am trying to figure out what year this was made. It has tube lugs and a factory light set up inside that shines through a nice oil painting of a mountain scene. Calf skin on both sides. It is mahogany but I can't tell if it is solid or not. Any Ideas?

2) I suggest you put up a photo(s) along with the description and that might help. Sounds like a cool drum.
