Hi Guys! I'm Fabrizio and my friends told me that i could find any information about my Slingerland using the serial number.
For example the serial number of my Slingerland is: 99037
Anyone can tell me somethings about my drums?
What is the year of it? And what is the wood for made it?

Well.. your friends were wrong.. (not quite that simple) .. But you will certainly get some expert info/history here if you post up some photo's of both the drum ..and a close up pic of the badge/badges..

Your friends are incorrect. That is not nearly enough information. Post pictures and the members here will gladly answer your questions. Welcome to the forum.

All the serial number can tell you is approximately what year the drum was made, and without a picture we can't necessarily even do that as Slingerland reused some numbers. There is no information about the drum coded into the serial numbers, they were just a number on the badge that continued to escalate chronologically.
