Many of us here on the forum have expressed interest in using the aluminum Slingerland repro grommets for our refurbs. Along with these grommets, the proper tool for flaring them is also required if you want a factory looking install. I just heard back from my buddy John, who manufactures these tools and grommets. John informs me that only 2 tools are left and after that, no more will be made. Each tool comes with 5 grommets, your choice of 3-ply or 5-ply. The cost is $75 plus shipping. If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll forward this to John.

I've got this tool and it's great! It's too bad no more will be made. I guess it's just too expensive!
