I just found a Slingerland 14" just like that at the place I rehearse. It has, apparently, been used as a coffee table for a long time. Brought it home and tuned it up and I was impressed...what a beautiful drum.

I have enough 4 piece sets. If it was a 5 piece, I'd be all over it. I really love my Slingerland drums.

Put them on eBay. I'll bet you get more than you think.

Typical shipping on eBay is about 100 bucks and that puts the set at $350 net.

I wouldn't go so far as to say you'll get twice that but, I'll bet you get close to $600 with shipping. If actual shipping costs you about $80, you net over $500.

EDIT: OK, I took a closer look (had me tempted to buy so I had to go look again. LOL). Maybe I'm a little high for the couple shortcomings (badges especially) but I still think you'll get more than you're asking.

What's wrong with the badges? The kit has black/gold badges on every drum.

There's very little wrong with this kit ... what is falls under the "splitting hairs" category. Nice stuff.
