Slingerland Drum Set MUST SELL!

Loading...

Vintage 70's Slingerland 4 piece set. One floor tom 18", one bass 24", two mounted toms. Great condition. Have serial numbers upon request. $600 or best offer. I also have a 1970's Ludwig acrolite snare no heads great shape. I really must sell this set. Some of you have come and looked at it and said that it was in GREAT shape. My son was just not willing to take what you were offering at the time. He is now willing to be reasonable and get it SOLD. Live in Central Florida.

I really could use some guidance here. I am a Woman and know little about drums. I am just trying to help out my son. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I just would like to sell to someone local to avoid the whole shipping thing.

eBay is your best bet or locally Craigslist.

Though it is a nice kit, White Marine Pearl is a more desirable type of wrap with smaller sized or jazz drums. Sometimes what you're offered is what people are willing to pay.

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

Bridget, the Ludwig Acrolite is a desirable snare drum, the one pic of the kit you have posted Isn't enough to give the perspective buyer what all they need to make a purchase decision.

post more pics of the kit here on the forum, also as BBK recommended try listing it on craigslist and your local outlet's also, put $100.00 on the snare drum, the kit I don't have enough pics to make a estimate on them. we can help you write your copy as to get a maximum Impact. good luck on the sale,

Bridget, take multiple angles, from the front, back both sides, and inside the shells also, close ups of all you take pics of, and all that is to go with the kit upon the sale. this will help us evaluate the kit and give you a price and to help write the copy for you.

I will do that tonight. I do have a pic of the inside of the shell. Is the one that is posted ok or should I take another? There are 4 pics that come up when you look at the posting right?

Bridget, I think that one pic of the Inside is enough, how does the chrome on the drums look, is it pitted or smooth? you'll want to give a description of the chrome as either pitted or lightly pitted on Good condition. hope this is of help?

I've been watching these since the first time you listed them before Christmas. If I was closer (live in CT) I'd be there with cash in hand. I can understand not wanting to ship, it can be a hassle not to mention possible damage during transit. Anyway very cool set. I love the WMP wrap and larger size drums. Bet they will sound great. Hopefully some lucky person will snag them soon! Wish I could get them.

Glenn.

Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

That is too bad. You could always take a road trip. Buy some drums, see Mickey Mouse Etc.
