Thumbs up ... 300 bucks is a good deal for that...

Spray on furniture polish will bring up that finish.. In OZ it's "MR Sheen".

Thanks longjohn for the thumbs and the tips. I noticed the 24" reso head is an actual Slingerland "cut away" head. It's beat up. Would anyone know where I could get a replacement Slingerland for that? Thanks again!!

Yes many of us cut huge holes in those heads. I reckon just buy a new head & a Slingerland logo sticker for it.

The original heads had a sticker on which the surround over time would yellow .. I still have mine stashed away, complete with the 12" cutout.. but looks horrible.
