I've done a deal or two with Matt. A very ethical, honest, stand-up guy. If I was in the market, I would not hesitate. Excellent kit.

I for one know Matt also and I've sold to him, also we are on another forum together where we evaluated this kit for him when he bought it sometime ago, it's 100% original, and this is a factory matched kit. He's a stand up and long standing member of this an the other forum that I'm on, I would not hesitate for a second to buy from Matt.

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

The snare is not as old as the rest of the kit, as evidenced by the silver/black badge. Other than that, you've got a cool set for sure.

Silver black badge doesn't have a curl on the s in Slingerland.... a quick way to tell, not all pics show true colors as Tillerva has pointed out.

Well there was one with curly S, but there is a pic with the date stamp in the snare as well

Not at the point at which the comment was made..... that's an interior shot of a tom..... see the mounting screws in relation to the edges?

But really, the point is what I stated, it's just a quick way to.........

Ah you are correct when the comment was made the pic of the snare date stamp was not there yet, that was added later. Although my point stands as well there is a black and silver badge with a curly S
