I have the opportunity to pick up locally a Slingerland 14x14 Tom that matches my set. He wants me to make him an offer. eBay isn't much help with value. Asking prices are $300 - 495, but none are selling. Any ideas on what a good offer would be? It's in good shape but missing the legs.

Take the lowest price you've seen them selling for, deduct the highest cost of legs and start there. That's a fair way to me.
Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

I sold a complete late sixties 14 BDP with a small blem on the finish for $325 a few months ago.
Like BBK said, if you take off for the legs, maybe $45.00 or so, you should be in the ballpark.
Give or take for condition, of course.
So, perhaps a $225 to $275 range for a legless floor?
I supposing a "ordinary" wrap or finish here?

Ok. That sounds about like what I was thinking. In my head I was thinking $250, so that sits right in the middle of your price range. Yeah, ordinary blue sparkle wrap, but it's the color I need. Been looking for one for a while that I wouldn't have to rewrap. Thanks for the help BBK and Kevins. I follow up with how it goes....fingers crossed.
