I saw some Shimano drums a couple years ago...new drums, actually....they were very nice-looking drums. I have a feeling they are only available in Japan for some reason. Does anyone know anything about them? Thanks
Shimano drums?

I dont know about drums, but Shimano is a Japanese bike component manufacturer (the largest in the world) and they also make fishing reels.
don't know if if this helps, or if it's even the same company.

Thanks. Those are related, but slightly different. The ones I have seen have a round badge and it says Shimano.
Yes, the same big company that makes bicycle components. I used to really want to get the black anodized Dura Ace stuff back in the day. I liked it better than Campagnolo. But, what did I know? When I was old enough to get a car, I forgot all about bicycles. (too bad for my gut!)
