SAMICK 80s-90s shell pack and snare drums mod. Octoplus!? - Page 1

Hey!

Does any one got any information about Samick drums?

A guy in my town tries to sell his shell pack and snare drum Samick. He thinks the drum kit is from the 80s or 90s, and the mod. is Octoplus or something like that -he is not sure.

The drum kit was a gift from his family when he was young, and now that the guy just got a brand new pearl drum kit, he is trying to get some money selling the samick drum kit.

I dont know pretty much about vintage drums, and actually I have not found any usefull information on internet -just nothing.

Does anyone know anything about samick?

I need info because I need to know if buying this drumkit could be a good deal for me, and at wich price...

I know Samick makes guitars, I own two cheap Samick acoustics and many of their Greg Bennet designed guitars aren't actualy that bad. I've neven seen or heard of Samick drums though, could be the same company.

I believe they are the same company that makes guitars.

I have a Samick amp and it`s one of the nicest I`ve owned, clear as glass and a hell of a reverb. Even cranked. Has no trouble with the Ratt either.

Are the one`s you want squared sizes ?

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!

The lugs suggest the kit was built by Pearl. However, your kit may be completely different than these. Really hard to give an estimation of value without pictures.
