Salesman Sparkle or Mint Oyster Glitter?

Loading...

From PressRoll

I would love to see the salesman wrap you make. I have a 5x14 snare that would look great in it.

I will post pics in a few days. The one I'm making for my kit is the vintage style without the black lines between the colour bands, but I can do either style.

That stuff is crazy.

Installation is critical as well to make sure the wrap is installed square.

Definitely unique!

That looks great! I am curious about something though.

I have seen a few different patterns for the color progression.

Here are a few I can think of off the top of my head. Starting from the center:

1. Silver, Blue, Red, Gold, Green

2. Silver, Blue, Red, Green, Gold

3. Blue, Silver, Red, Gold, Green

4. Champagne, Blue, Red, Green, Gold, Silver

Some were re-wrap projects, one was an original WFL, some were in Bun E's collection, an the new re-issues from Ludwig (the ones with the thin black stripe that separates the colors).

What was the original progression? Did Ludwig make them however they wanted to?

Just curious.

Pressroll,

On the original the green and gold were reversed on the snare compared to the others. I don't know much about the newer ones with the black stripes in between.

Looks like clean work but not my cup of tea.
