I've had that happen twice to me,and I was wearing a full face mask/construction type helmet combo. Now I use a belt sanding table, with various grit belts, and its not really a lot slower.Along with that and a hand grinder and a dremel tool,it gets the job done. You may also want to consider a shell casing tumbler like the ones ammunition reloaders use.The larger ones are pretty heavy duty, and when used with different media, can strip and even polish, completely hand off.
