Good Morning
I am trying to date a 7"x14" RB Gretsch Blue Glass Glitter Snare model 4191 , SN 70057. Also, what might this drum be worth. ?
Thanks
Fred

Hi Fred....Gretsch RB #4191 appears in the Gretsch catalog for the the year 1966 (Gretsch's last catalog before selling the company to Baldwin). It also indicates that finishes for #4191 are either in Pearl and Chrome. It is listed with "Concert Snare Drums" which includes #'s 4190, 4191, 4192, and 4193, and which has the following general description..."Sharp, powerful separate tension snare for the concert band or orchestra. Standard finish is hand-polished Mahogany. Metal parts in Chrome plate. Responso all-metal snares".
Hope this helps,
Behagen (Bruce)
