Rolling Bomber value??

The Slingerland book by Rob Cook shows a Rolling Bomber set and has it listed at 1942. That's the only year he has for them. Other sets listed have a spread of years they were made in, but only 1942 for the Rolling Bomber set. Seems that Drums008 set may be shells from a year or two earlier and fitted with the wooden lugs in order to be sold that year, as the '42 set in the Cook book has tension lugs on batter and resonant sides.

Jonni, thank you that was my info that you quoted, I was annoyed by the newbie!!!! Yeah that's a 2000,00 drum kit good luck with that!!!! the kit has 2 drums that are usable the tacked on head toms are not very usable!!! So I'm still stand by my 1000,00 maybe a tad more but not much!!! And I'm still smoking chris!!!Bump

Yes I suppose I came off like an ass, my apologies for that. I hold strong though, those drums are worth what someone is willing to pay. Tacked on heads or not,......newbie to this forum or not, I guarantee someone somewhere in this country or another is willing to pay $2k for them. Save a search on ebay for these things, they don't come around often but they always sell for good money.

Sorry again man, didn't mean to be a tool.
