Here's some pictures of the logo heads. The batter head is a coated E-1, which is basically a Remo Emperor. The resonant head is a coated A-1, a Remo Ambassador.

Beautiful and worth every penny invested IMO.
Hey Mark!
Stunning PERFECTION as always from you! :) That said... as to the cost of actually creating it: NEVER count your money while you're still at the table is the old saying! :) Course, I also mean that as NEVER add up how much you have into anything that you enjoy/love. That's usually a sure bet for a taste of remorse, and we don't want or need remorse! You know I'm 'jes funnin' with you here ... but there is truth in it too! :) Absolutely BEAUTIFUL though, and a GREAT size!

Perfect job!
Glenn and Jerry!
Thanks for the compliments!
Tommyp!... I always appreciate the support from you for all my Rogers and Slingerland projects! I rarely think about the total amount I spend for each refurb/restore, as it is definitely something I truly love doing! Now, the only other issue is that I just sat the original 8x12 on top of the new 12x15 floor tom and there is a definite difference in the shade of blue glitter. I completely expected this, but don't feel it will be that bad when the 12x15 is set up by itself with the rest of the kit. Regardless, it's just a cool size to have and more portable, and less weight, than the 16x16.

That looks great! My first set back in school was an old, beat up, blue sparkle Rogers set that I traded for...well...I really don't want to talk about it...still going through therapy on that one... :p
Did the same with an old WMP eagle badged Yorkville BnB lugged 15x12 model.Drilled and added mounts and swan legs to match a 3 pc kit. Hey,it's what any budget concience teen would have done with his kit back in the day!

Sounds like an excellent conversion to me!
