Didn't you also post this at DFO? As for those 23 needle bearings, I thought they were only 22 bearings. Regardless, you can purchase Torrington B-68 bearings, or equally good Japanese replacements on the internet. Just search B-68 bearing.

Revival Drum Shop in Portland Oregon has a 395R for $139. Looks like its all there and in nice shape. Not sure if it has bearings or bushings but that is an easy fix if not to your liking.
