Rogers Solid Stainless Steel Swiv tom arm notice

Loading...

In addition to my solid stainless steel Rogers floor tom legs, set screws, knobby screws and bass drum spurs I am offering a new replacement Solid stainless steel Swiv-O-Matic tom holder.

On Sunday I will post 9 of the 10 prototype solid stainless steel Rogers replacement Swiv-o-matic tom arms up for auction on E-bay. I am keeping # 1 for myself. The tolerances on that are super tight, some people may not like it, the ball & arm are snug. I actually prefer it.

The auction will be open to foreign bidders as well. They will start at $99, far below the material & time I have invested. My hope is that they all go high enough to cover all my losses in the initial run of arms. It is also my hope to make another run of arms at a set price to be determined after new stainless stock is purchased.

These arms are all hand made, hand fitted and hand polished. No CNC work here, all old school single stage step by step process.

The new arms are better than the original in that they are SOLID machined 303 / 304 stainless. It will never peel or tarnish & hard as a rock, it will last 2 lifetimes The hex rod, & hex rod & ball are PINNED in place so they will never twist or come loose.

These are a work of art, a labor of love. I am not sure how long I can sustain this losing proposition.

The auction listing will be posted here on Sunday night.

I can only produce about 3 of these a month since it is so labor intensive. Enjoy !

At this point I am unable to figure out how to post a photo here. I am not too computer savvy....They are on the facebook Rogers page for inspection.

First, that's top crop Stainless, $$$$$,..second, that's a heck of a weight factor and the biggest complaint around here is how heavy their drums are.

Good luck my friend, I often wondered the pro's and con's about SS trim.

The quality is second to none. The arm weighs almost exactly 1 lb. 1.020 to be exact.
