I threw heads on and shimmed wrap all the way round with no issues but if I do get the wrap from Sam I will have it cut 1/8" or so shy of the edge.
Rogers project can begin!

Great idea!! I think I will pass on that one for now. I got some wrap samples from Sam but they were not as close as I wanted.
I found some other options from precision. Ginger glitter and Pewter glitter might be closer. I have a wrap sample of the Pewter as I believe it is close than the Ginger. The ginger appears to have much more gold vs my original wrap.
I would really like to stick to an actual wrap for this vs. making a wrap. I don't think the depth of finish will be there with a high quality photo & print.

Now I just have to decide. I obtained a few more samples and I have a 60's Kent floor tom in silver sparkle to show against the Rogers kit. The Silver sparkle blends really well.
I am just concerned if I go with the Silver Glass Glitter that the gold tones in the new version will be too strong.
Thoughts?

That sample looks pretty good. There will always be a difference between new and 50-year-old wrap, but that looks like the closest you will get...
It'll look fine under stage lights. Your doing a good job!
