Needed a COB and had been wondering what all the fuss was about with Rogers snares. Now I know. Great drum. Will clean up just fine. Serial # 049723. Here are sellers pics. Afters in a couple of days. Happy camper.

Very nice! Yes, they are wonderful snare drums! I've got two...an early Cleveland and an early Fullerton. Enjoy your COB Powertone!

Thanks!

Got the flashlight aimed just right and this is a Fullerton. Having too much fun playing it to start cleanup :-) Outstanding snares folks. Was $140 with a nice stand OK?

$140 for any high quality snare is great when you consider what $140 gets you new at G.C. Makes you wonder why anyone would settle for a brand new M.I.C. snare over a classic American made snare at the same price. Once you get accustomed to your "new" Powertone, it might be time to start thinking Dynasonic, but be prepared for a little more work in the setup/tuning department.

Enjoy that classic COB sound.

+1 !!

Wise Words!

I started up-side down! After my first Roger´s Dyna, I could not resisted to acquire a first gen. Powertone.

Now I'm looking for a SuperTen -´because I can´t afford a "woody dyna" - L.O.L.!!Laughing H

yup / $140..!

These are usually $200 is rough shape..or not original..

$250 is about right for a fullerton model in good shape..

Does she still have her orig wires..? if so...great..

if not, try to find them...it changes the sound a lot..

Thanks All !!

Just a killer snare. Still loud as a rifle with an old school rubber practice pad. Smile hasn't gone away, doubt it will anytime soon.

>> Does she still have her orig wires..?

Don't know, MIT 20 strand are there now. Pics attached. Anyone know if this is the original stand? Per normal the rest of the pictured "band" are of no help :-). Cosmos, Tigger and Daisy bottom to top.

She's off to the make bright and shiny dept. This ones easy. Appears no need to pull the lugs.

Congratulations! You will love it. Now you need to find a 6.5" x 14 version.
