Rogers lug bolt spacing help please

Loading...

I have a Rogers blue sparkle Cleveland 12,16,20 kit that I will be restoring when I get caught up with a few other projects and need some advice.

The 12" tom and 20" BD are close in serials and both have B&B lugs that are in good shape.

The 16" FT has Beavertail lugs. If I could find a good buy on 16 B/B lugs, would the bolt spacing be the same on both types of lugs?

Drilling holes is not an option.

Thanks!

Hole spacing not the same on any b&b/beavertail matchup, unfortunately.

I've thought about why they did this. I suppose it was to encourage people to buy new drums instead of converting the old.

Hard to imagine the angels at Rogers coming up with this plan, but, business is business...

Bummer. I think I will just enjoy them as they are then.

Thanks Dan!

Good idea! After I get them all cleaned up, I might just do that.

Thanks!
