Rogers Lacquered Brass Snare Early 60's

Here's a drum I picked up a while back. The shell had a lot of tarnish on it when it came to me, but I polished it up to reveal the brass shell. It was a lot of elbow grease, but worth it in the end.

This one is an English Rogers. I purchased a reproduction script logo badge for the snare, but I haven't installed it onto the drum as of yet. Those reproduction badges look great, but they don't have the pins that allow you to connect it to the drum.

English Rogers owners will know what I'm talking about. This drum sounds nice by the way.

Enjoy

As pretty as a shiny new penny. Nice job buffing that shell. I think it's far more eye-catching than the usual COB.

Cheers, Mike. I agree. The B&B lugs and Tallboy hoops complete the look. It's becoming my go to snare at the moment. It really is a fantastic sounding drum.
