I just noticed on my Rogers kick that the spacing between the lugs by the legs are closer together than the others. Is this normal for a Rogers 24" kick?

Hmmm...........very interesting. I seem to recall having had one 24-inch Rogers bass drum and I have no recollection of there being a condition like that. Tommy P has a 24-inch. Maybe he can assist.
Not normal. No explanation.

Dry, very dry Ploughman. :)
No sign of holes where the lugs should be located? Original wrap? That is weird, maybe first day for a new Rogers employee!
Thank you!

Maybe it was a 26" that went on a reduction program and had a tummy tuck.... http://www.vintagedrumforum.com/images/smilies/roflol.gif
Just curiously, is the spacing uniform other than at the spurs or does it vary elsewhere?
Well that's just weird! And both sides are like that by the spur collets? I'd like to see a pic of the interior.

Wow! Someone was having a bad day with the automated drilling machine! Then, again, was it automated? Either way, I've never seen this before!
