Looks like this could be worth investigating in Colorado Springs given that it has a 14x14 red onyx floor tom in the mix for $1200 and a whole bunch more.

BA allows you to fly with your instrument at no extra charge. I've done it a few times with a 3-piece set-up and put the snare hardware and cymbals in the regular luggage and just made weight when two pieces are allowed. However, I think they might balk at this load.

The last time I did it with a Roland set, they almost denied me the privilege saying that it is their intent to let you take on a guitar, or violin or trumpet or something similar in size and put it in the closet up front. I had the printed policy with me that doesn't make that clear. Rather than argue and delay check-in for those behind me, they allowed it. I probably won't push it that hard in the future.

I hauled my banjo out to Colorado but it had to go in checked bags.

Nice looking Daytons for a good price. I'm a little curious about the placement of the tom mount collet on the bass drum. Any of you Rogers guys ever see a single tom mount placed dead center on top of the bass behind the script logo? Was there ever a factory catalog setup like this with the knobby cymbal mount? I've seen lots of crazy factory and custom collet placements, but never one like this.
