Tim - If you own a videocam, could you please record a short sound file of the kit? I'd like to hear what that boomer of a bass drum sounds like!

Finally got my 10"x14" together. I just shined up the lugs the best I could. Threw a couple of 8 hole rims on it and a rims ISO mount and flying it off my low Tama floor tom stand I use with a couple other kits. Works fine. I polished it a couple more times with PlastX and then with some black kiwi shoe polish and hand buffed it. I think it will look fine from the stage.
Thanks to everyone who offered to help me out with parts.
I will try to get a sound file one of these days. I might swap them out with my studio kit to see how they record.
And Wayne, yes , this is a satisfying project. I am enjoying working on them. I still think I may replace my bass batter head. It seemed ok the one live gig I have played them on but hard to tell behind them and how it sounds mic'ed.
