Ok i have been playing Rogers drums since 1966,my first set was a clevland set Hihat set with double 8x12's this set was bought brand new in 1966 and it had the dogbone style double tom setup, my question is when did the newer style double tom mount first used?

The reason i am asking is i am seeing alot of drums on ebay etc that have early cleavlands tags like say 5500 and they are sporting the new style holders, this does not seem right to me so i am asking for those who may know... i can post pictures if needed as i have sets with both styles of double tom holders thanks ..The Band
