Can someone please tell me the correct size carriage bolts that Rogers used on the Cleveland era drums? Are they 3/16" 10-24? and proper length? Zinc finish?

Thanks!

It's the round headed bolts that hold the swivo collet plates to the shells. 4 bolts in each plate. Thanks.

Glenn,

And while we're on the subject, what were the nuts used on these Cleveland carriage bolts... hex or square? As we've discussed, my Cleveland bass is a mixed bag of Cleveland, Dayton, and Fullerton hardware, so I can't use that as a model. Dan C. should be able to answer these questions.

Only the early b&b drums used the square nuts on the mounting bolts. Usually found on b&b drums with black interiors. In general, the carriage bolts were shorter in the early 60's and got longer towards the late 60's.

Mike good question!! I had assumed hex bolts but it's good thing to confirm. And thank you Dan! My kit is a mix of 59 and 60-61 shells. So I'll try the shorter bolts.
