Rogers bass drum logo's......what years?

Hey all. I've been looking for a answer but came up empty. So out to the expert panel it goes...........

What year did Rogers go to the new style bass drum logo? My kit is a 59-60 and think it should have the older style font inside the black oval. But if the later style logo was a year or so later I might go that direction.

By new style I mean this type.

Forgot a picture of the older bass logo. Like this one or the same style type in the black oval.

I'm interested in the Rogers bass drum logo timeline too. My Bandstand outfit is also from late 50's/early 60's and I need to choose a logo.

I hope it works out that the new logo is right for both your kits, cuz I just love it!

Kelly thanks buddy! Huge help. I'm with Mitch that's such a great looking kit too! In fact all of your kits are.

Tim I'm looking forward to see which logo you pick. This for the duco Roger kit?

For the longest time I really wanted the older logo. Lately I like the newer one a bit more. Especially the one with the open.hollow R more so than the solid R. But need to see who makes what. I'll probably get a few different ones. And just get 2 heads to swap around. Thinking about a shield too. We'll see how it goes.

Another stunner! Two of my favourite wraps on some of the best vintage drums in existence [even tho I'm a Ludwig guy!]. You better check your spelling tho - you're making them out to be monsters! :)

All over ebay too - the logos look top notch. I think it's a great service he's providing...

This is the shield I want to make. I found a pic of Gene Krupa's shield and traced it and made mine. Sorta. Just a very rough draft still. But I like the hand painted look of his. Don't want a perfect cookie cutter image.
