I am sure you have probably saw my other post about this snare. This a 1920's Ludwig 4X14 nickel plated brass snare drum. I would like to restore it to sell it. Any suggestions on what to use to get all the tarnish off and make it shine again. I realize there is a section on this website that gives you a generic start to restoring these kind of shells but I would like advice from people who have done this before. I need some ideas on what products and tools to use and where do you buy them.

Would brass o work on getting the tarnish off?
