I just traded my 2 slingy Cymbal stands to a Forum member for some 60's flat base ludwig stangs. the problem with the deal is this: He sent me pics of his and his is much shinier than mine. So, I;m about to partake in the cymbal stand restoration. Before I could start my project I had to clean off my work table. its my formal dining room table. it's 42"X 8' with the 2 leafs. I made a almost industructable heavy duty vinyl table cover for it. I have avout 8 staples stapled underneith to secure it. Thats my drum room lol. I actually put 4 of my snares in the Hutch that matches the table. I had crystal glasses and glass stuff all over my table. I had to move to makke room for my snares. Soooo I had to put the excess baggage crystal somewhere. any way I got my table all cleared off and have the stands out, wwith all the stuff I "think" i'll need. I took all my before pics So im ready to embark. So old school, these stands are fixin to impress you!
PS the 20" floor tom makes a good lil table. lol Its a monster!
5 may make a cocktail drum out of it,
