It's been a while since I've been on here. I recently purchased a 63-64 Slingerland aluminum student model drum that included the original case, hardware, etc. I love being able to store and transport the drum in the original case but the hinges have come off. Does anyone know how this could be repaired? The only thing I can think of is to drill through the case and run a bolt through the hinge and into the case. I did not know if anyone had any tips or tricks. Thanks again guys!

I have a Slingerland hard case that I put a piano hinge on with rivets. Works great. You could try the rivets with yours if the case is not the same. The hinge on this was plastic built into the plastic mold.
