But just to answer Ralf's comment, on the back side of the bass drum I moved the lug position- taking out one at 6 o'clock and installing two - one at 5 o'clock and one at 7 o'clock- this let's me mount the bass pedal or bass pedal riser. This is a travel kit for when I have play cafe shows and take the subways around Osaka. The snare is not true-dead-center where you'd normally place it but is comfortable enough for free style jazz or R&B playing- it works well enough. I don't want to carry any more stands than absolutely necessary. This kit needs only throne, hihat stand, L-rod cymbal arm and tom mount and FT legs. Guitar Dude Man
