Removing Rogers Big R wrap

Loading...

Hi All,

I have an Ebony wrap Big R set that I'm considering re-wrapping. Just wondering if anyone has removed this particular wrap? It seems to be a "regular" wrap - not cortex [which I would not attempt to remove]

I know that certain Big R wraps can basically be removed by hand without heat, etc. and can literally just be pulled off.

Thanks in advance.

Not sure about black wrap. but just had an easy removal of white wrap on a XP8 tom. This was easier to previous early 70's swivo wrap.

I used a heat gun to remove some butcher block wrap from a FT, worked really well and was actually able to reuse the wrap.
