Red Zildjians?

Loading...

Greetings,

I happened upon this on ebay. Does anyone ever remember Zildjian issuing these? The seller is in Massachusetts, so it's not like it was special Europe or non-USA edition (at least I don't think). Maybe they were for an artist or music festival or something? Looks like A Series or Armand Series hammering. Anyone recognize the logo on the top of the cymbal (opposite the Zildjian wordmark)? Interesting for sure.

Hi V!

I'm not aware of any "red" Zildjian cymbals! I know that Paiste offered the "Colorsound" series of cymbals, as I had a set of those in red! It is possible that those Zildjians are legitimate, only that I've not seen them. Maybe others can offer more information.

So, is there a metal insignia stamp on them? Looks maybe were made for some promotion associated with a piano store; recall recently seeing Zildjian/ partnered/ with a Piano company and Cymbals "logo" 'ed to match the promotion (piano company and zildjian company logo/both on cymbal) .

But..let's see the stamp and they are ultra Cool.

That logo on the upper half is from the band Twenty One Pilots.
